1st Time power-up.
I am not sure if I am allowed to do this, but the subject is the same. (Asking a different question in a specific thread.)
What I want to know is if there are a special way to power-up an Aleph30 the 1st time, or can I just switch on and turn up the volume , after checking all the connections, components etc. and hope for the best.

Re: 1st Time power-up.
That is one way to do it. If you sure you didn't make mistake and all your components are fine you can't go wrong.

Hello JDeV,
When first time power up the Aleph amplifier,
it is better idea to do it without the speakers
connected to the amplifier, just to protect them in
case if there is something wrongly constructed.
Also, the Alephs are very 'simple' and robust amplifiers,
and there is no required any special way to power-up
them.

Kristijan is right, never power the amp for the first time with speakers connected to the amp. First check DC offset and if it's satisfactory connect some crappy speakers first. After you play with amp for few hours and everything seems to be fine than you can connected it to the main setup you have.
