I attached a picture where i think i understand what you talk about make a capacitator input ad a choke input from same secondary taps.

I know is odd but get same problems after fried some tubes whilst the mains dropped off and comes is seconds back. This was my simple way to solve the problem. Plates 490V screens 330V. The relay I had on hand comute at 400V and get off at 375V around. The current draw by circuit is 8.75mA which may be considered pretty high but I used the relay had on hand, some 4 mA may be used as well...Still I protected my screens with fast fusible on each side.

It was well advised to fuse the tubes in cathode and not in the plate side. If faulty condition make the plate fuse blow the screens get toasted. Blowing in cathode will open both plate and screen circuits.
