Does any one out there have a power on power off schematic that will drive a simple relay.
i would like to get some thing that i can have one switch but do both functions
one press for power on and one press for power off.
to activate a relay to turn on the main part of the amplifier.
any one help..
Please i lost my old one and now i cant find it.

any small signal transistor such as a 2n4401 will do....basically the relay coil impedance determines the size (current capability)
Tell us what your relay coil's resistance will likely be...from there we can calculate the current draw and the transistor that best fits the job...I guess a TIP31 there will do for any relay..except for those REALLY BIG relays...
