Between posts here and pm contact, it looks like most folks do want to take advantage of the board upgrades with their nominal cost increase.
Please see the first post where I describe how we'll finance the upgrade.

Update:
In a strange turn of events, the US-bound boards have arrived at my home. Sorry, Roland! This is really odd. Anyway, I'll get into the box tomorrow and begin my own inspection of the boards before proceeding to getting real shipping amounts (for First Class Package Service) from the USPS. Stay tuned.

It was discovered late in the order process that upgrading the outer traces to 2 oz copper and using the ENIG finish would benefit the boards. The cost is $2 per board. |
Boards are grouped and pre-packed based on order size. They'll be loaded into the bubble mailers and labeled tomorrow. I plan on shipping them out Friday.
Incidentally, I'm going to delete this picture from my phone. I swear I'm prepping circuit boards for you guys...

If you are paid up, your boards shipped today. 🙂

Brian, I just authorized the additional $2 per board this morning but I delayed because this hit me the wrong way. I did not recieve any notice of any discussion about the increase and when the 2nd paypal invoice came my scam alarm bells started ringing. Now that I had time to look for this thread and see a bit of the history I am assured you are legit but just a bit of feedback for future use. If a change in cost is being considered notify the group by email, not just via a thread that apparently I was not part of.
