While we wait for the final payments to come in, I ran across something I think is very important.
My first post for this group buy indicated that the boards would be created using Mark's Rev A Gerber files. Deep inside the VRDN build discussion was a mention that using 2 oz copper for the outer traces benefits the circuit greatly, as does using the ENIG finish. The ENIG finish is lead-free and RoHS compliant as well. These two options are not in the original Rev A Gerber files. Adding these features to our order increases the cost by approximately $2.00 USD each.
The version of the board which is being ordered is going to work just fine, but I believe the enhancements will make it better.
I'll need a consensus here, but is everyone willing to pay this additional cost?
