Why would they want you in there?
They would rather you had to take it to one of their service outlets, or better yet, have to buy a new one.
This is how most/all items are designed nowadays.
The only anomaly would seem to be that someone wrote a manual that actually tried to explain the service process.

Swedish homeguard has finally gotten their navel vessels that will deter assaults from foreign countries ...
OK, so it has a Gatling gun on flimsy pintel and rockets, but also appears to have a lawnmower attachment. Odd. The Swedish pedalo looks more dangerous. But not as dangerous as your young lady wearing safety glasses and clutching the hot end of a soldering iron.
