We're using rabbet joints. I never was a great carpenter; I always had to concentrate to cut straight and square. And now I'm teaching someone else to use the tools. Think Mr. Magoo teaches somebody how to drive.
But all the pieces fit real nice. The wood I'm using was culled over 60 years ago that makes it kind of special.

Terminals and crossover boards came from a drawer of curated junk. I removed the crossover (two caps and a coil) and all the wires etc and installed my impedance correction circuit for the woofer onto the board. Here's before and after.
