I would also like to add that I only get a buzzing noise when I put my finger on the left capacitor. I get no buzzing noise when I put my finger on the right capacitor.
There is also no continuity between the left channel input and the input cap so I'm going to concentrate efforts on checking for cold solder joints.

It looks like you will have to replace the left channel Solen. If you get a buzz when you touch the top, in means the chip is working OK on that channel, good..
I think it was shorting and passing the DC. Now it has gone open circuit and passing nothing.
The right channel won't buzz if the volume is turned down. If the right channel still plays music then leave it alone..
I would remove the left Solen, cut the top wire about 1cm from the board because we know that connection to the board is OK (buzz). De-solder the bottom wire.
Try another cap as a temp just to see if it works, solder one leg of the cap to the 1cm piece of wire left at the board and the other leg to C19, the end closest to L5.
regards..

I got my new capacitor in today and went to work. Pulled the old cap out and it is indeed in a permanent "open" condition. Put the new cap in and decided to avoid the surface mount pads at R1,R2,R3,R4,C1,C2 for the line in and go straight into the bottom of the potentiometer. Everything is working wonderfully. Thanks again for all the help you guys have provided me. (especially audio1st) I wasn't expecting easily discernable differences coming into this project but there seems to be less induced texture in the tone. There is also less idle hiss from the power supply now, (I have to have my ear 3" from the tweeter to hear any.)
I might start a new thread and post a list of what I did along with part numbers. The biggest problem I had when trying to undertake this project was finding all the parts so it would be nice to make it easier on first timers.
