Yes, an unusual place.

There is a post office at Sea Ranch, but it has a long waiting list for
boxes, and also is at the other end of the 10 mile length of coast, so we
have a PO box in Gualala, where the bulk of services are. If you send a
letter to me in SR, it gets sent back. Packages are held for a week, but
they don't call you up to tell you that you have one, but I was also
informed by the tracking function of USPS to expect this one.

There are a couple of nice places to eat at Sea Ranch proper, and two
just to the South, and immediately to the North Gualala has two pizza
places and two Mexican restaurants as well as five regular restaurants.

This is indeed a beautiful neighborhood. My wife and I have rented two of the houses shown in the photo at various times over the years. The beach in the photo is one of our favorites on TSR.
