Hi!
Thank`s to all of you guys. I`m realy glad that you like the look of this clones. I`m quite shure that you would like the way that this amps reproduce the music.
I like the combination of clean funtion and estetic (I think that that is the best recepy for good industrial design). Since I`m mechanical technician, construction of the chasis was not realy a problem. I`d like to have some of your knowlidge of electronics.
Peter, top plate is screwed on the bars you can see on the inside picture, or beter will bee when (the time I`ll be able to pull my self out of listening) I drill a holes and cut the.........?. You know those spiral things in the hole alowing you to screw up the screw. Just kiding, but I realy don`t remember of the word. Coper? Well, it was by hand, and frend of my recommended me to do so. Cage or protection of outside interference.
Amps are cca. 25kg each, don`t know what is that meen in the pounds.
BTW
I`d like to repet the quest. from the start of thead, I adresed on somebody who can answer to me. On what temperature are runing your input fets. (my are very hot).

P.S.
Actualy there is a peace of round bras in my workshop waiting for me to plane out some cone shape legs. Not to sharp on the end certanly.

Lead`s are red, but I have a nice colection at home so I can change them by the fashion trends.
Toroids are costum made on my order and requested specifications by the local manufactor PENKO transformers (50$ each). 1,5kW 33+33V giving +44 -44 on dc rails. Filtered by 136000uF per chanal. Inrush curent protection (paraleled NTC), 0,47 and 0,22uF on main leeds are taken from Aleph 4 schematic. No aditional filtering on the circuit.

Well, the hardvere stuf like transformers and enclouser are quite resonable priced at Slovenija. Heatsinks for example is 25$ per piece. On the other side I realy had a problem geting el. parts. I cleaned up all stock of irfp240`s in Slovenija. There was only one firm in Slovenija that coud suply me with them. I had a problem geting even IRF9610. Most of the parts was ordered from USA and Belgium. BTW mybe interesting. Those amps of my costed me cca. 850$ total.
My speakers are Magneplanar SMG-C, and my preamp is beautifull Novegian stuf - Electrocompaniet EC4.6. Rest of the sistem: Kuzma Stabi turnable with Stogi arm and Ortofon MC 25, Tim de Paravichini EAR835P phono MC preamp (DIY project of my friend) and Marantz 63 Mk II, KI in the proces of replacement. Kables - Kimber.

very professional looking
I'll bet these babies sound as good as they look! Your project gives diy a sturdy pat on the back. I hope my project looks half as good as yours.
