How high output power do you use this core for? I feel uncomfortable going past 12-13A peak output current with a 1mm+ gapped RM12 3F3 core in my UcD as past this point you get too close to saturation and distortion rises fast.
Hi!
I not calculated cut-off frequency of a output filter. The gap selected by practical consideration that inductance of a throttle was 30 mkH.
I tried to lead measurements with IRF540Z, total distortions about 0.08 but 2nd harmonic as in original UcD amplifiers prevails.

Final version
Hi all!
I finished to build my discrete UcD .
Fosc = 330kHz
Distortion is not very good, but i want to try reduce Fosc to 60-100k (for sub amp). I think i doing it in next few days.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I plan to build about 15-20 devices. For Home, for country, for the car of the future...
Impressive plans! What about a mankind entire, and for other galaxies?
Here are some pictures of my ongoing project:

zilog,
nicely done.. how much for the kit??
zilog said:Supply voltages are +-45V, power rating is ~200W@ 4ohm. Hopefully it works, but probably it wont
If you can guarantee that Bruno lets me live, I will sell you some PCBs
nah.. juzt kidding
anyways, I can SEE in your pics a 14pin chip pad... so I guess you got your overcurrent protection scheme running ....
op-amp buffer you used??
zilog,
I have understood thanks . I tried to connect the amplifier to +-47v with IRF540z and this fets was destroyed for pumping effect i think so... irfb23n15 works fine 235W@2ohm supply voltage with this load was reduced from 46 to 31v per rail. Little question. Why on 2-side pcb crosspieces from wires are used?
