I think it might help to keep them grounded?Am I missing some rule that states tube amps, and possibly other items, must sit on the floor? Asking for a friend ....
Working on this arc vt60 which due to needing several things is turning into my latest Frankenstein project.
I lit the bottom of the board to make it easier to work on from the top, but I think I might just light the shelf under it, it looks pretty neat.

My first PSE 300B tube amplifier finished this year.

That's a really nice amp alex mm. I notice most of you are using PCB's for your amp builds, does no one do point to point anymore? If not, why not? I'll admit a modular PCB design looks good & is probably just as good if not better than P - P wiring. Probably a lot less time consuming & easier to construct too. Still, seems a shame P - P is going out of fashion.

True, but what about high voltage arcing & traces carrying high current to OP valves? I'd presume from the ammount of DIYers using PCB's this isn't an issue.Circuit boards have become so cheap to have made these past few years. Good quality finished boards with silkscreen and everything cost literally a few dollars.
I prefer the challenge of point to point, but boards are a much simpler way to get a finished amplifier. Most folks I think just want to have fun building something that works at an affordable price point. They aren't trying to appeal the fetishes of the true purists.

Cool power supply, but...gallbladder machine? I'm thinking this is a mis-translation hehe
