I would like to present my last effort:
new s.e. amplifier using 100TH driven by 2A3.
Three power supply tubes regulated, one for 100TH using 6C33C and two ( one per channel) using 6EM7 for 2A3 and input stage.
Cabinet made in solid wood machines with CNC with nice copper inserts.
Wow, looks like a brute! Well done! Do you have a schematic? Interesting to see what all those valves are up to.
Hi Tony;
Do you have a circuit for the 813 amp?
I built Peter Millets 813 triode amp using 12HG7's as the single driver..
thanks
Phil
i use the same basic circuit as Pete's minus the computer startup...
2 6ck3's in a hybrid fwb bridge provides about 1100volts at standy..
the 11HM7's has it's own B+ supply at about 440volts dc...
the operating point will probably be at 1kv at 80mA at idle...
in my case, i added an 0A2 gas reg tube to supply 150 volts to the pentode driver screens, being a separate B+ supply, i felt no need for a regulator to supply this stage...
to me controlling the screen and feeding it off a low impedance source is enough for low distortions, the plates can vary and not have too much effect .....

With the paint work is helped by friends from the body shop...did you do the paintjob yourself?
Thank you

If you mean the anode caps - I bought them on ebayDo the anodized pieces are home-made?
Nice work!!!
Do the anodized pieces are home-made?
No maestro es pintura similar martillado. No sir is no anodized, is enamel that looks hamerite"
Best Regards
NiceHello everyone!
Here is the latest creation. SE 6G2_EL36.
Do the anodized pieces are home-made?
Sorry, did not understand ... : O
Yes - it is a hammer enamel painting. https://www.google.ru/search?q=моло...&ei=4FxyUdWvMOfl4QSF_IGYDw&sqi=2&ved=0CDkQsAQ
The body is made of MDF. Then glued over with oak veneer and painted with lacquer.ovpopov65,
is that stained plywood or hardwood ?

crown 810 its good.... i haven't saved up for a better amp tubes i mean....
works well though... good clear sound not stylish and fancy distortion but its baddass
its industrial so running in a house with 3 small full range boxes it never clips... ever
but i can also never get half its power...needs 15volt diver
thing never gets hot, never screws up, very protected...
it was 1 of 40 in a ballpark
i wanna use it one day for subs, not as though it can't run something
in my car
zapco 50C
such good car sq
run it 60% to 100% all day everyday
small amp but detailed
i can stand 50ft away crank it up and it sounds good

I'm using a 300B amp of my own design (see my website for details). It's still sitting in the living room in "DeathTrap" configuration - i.e. as a prototype with exposed wiring. The chassis is slowly coming together. I have one final round of painting left to go, then it's assembly time.
The attached shows the second-to-final configuration using ECC99 as the driver tube. I ended up using the 6N6P. JJ 300B running 400 V, 80~85 mA.
