i recived small pacels < 2kg from the netherlands and shipping was about 7€
This seems to agree with what Dutch TPG Post specifies here:

http://www.tpgpost.nl/productinformatie/posttarieven/tarieven_worldpack_basic.html

http://www.tpgpost.nl/productinformatie/posttarieven/tarieven_worldpack_special.html

According this sites, if I understand it right, standard mail within European Community is:

up to 2kg Euro 7,75
up to 5kg Euro 16,00
up to 10kg Euro 20,50

TPG Post homepage is here:

I have sourced new Philips BC elco's of 47.000 uF/63V for about 12 euro each.
Piersma,

how "new" are those caps?
I mean electrolytic caps have only limited lifespan when stored uncharged.
Could it be that the reason why they are so cheap is because this caps have been stored for quite a long time already?
Usually high quality electrolytic caps have a manufacture date code printed on the caps body.
Would it be possible to know the data code of this caps?
I ask because it happened not so long ago that I bought "new" Siemens electrolytic HV-caps.....from 1985........and I`d like to make sure that this (or something similar) does not happen again.

I picked up my caps yesterday (I live near Piersma.) and they look great!
It is an amazing sight to see a box fully loaded with 47.000 uF caps and buying a few of them for only 12 Euro a piece!
I'll let you know when my Aleph is finished so you listen to it.

Thanks again!

Can anyone of you provide 100V PSU Caps?????????
Not easy to find goodpriced 100V caps with high capacitance.
Most manufacturers produce them but the distributors don´t have them.
10000uF/100V is relatively easy to get.
But cost 16.71€ for example at Schuro . (Same batch of Philips BC elkos)
With a bit of luck you might get a good deal at Ebay.
Have a look here for example : Ebay Link
They are 6 years old and I don´t know if the seller ships international.

Jens

Manufacturing year

Joens,

I think you are making a little mistake, the label on the caps you mention tell us that the SIEMENS caps are munufactured in mai of 1991. They were used untill 1997.

Best regards

P.S. Maybe there will be a second shipment of PHILIPS BC caps i don't have the confirmation yet. Drop me an personal e-mail if you are interested.
