I think you are making a little mistake, the label on the caps you mention tell us that the SIEMENS caps are munufactured in mai of 1991. They were used untill 1997.
It´s probably better that the caps have been used a while than stored uncharged for more than 10 years.

Ups, indeed my mistake to not read through carefully.
As I always have an eye on electronic junk at ebay I just thought I might pass the link.
I bought some old Siemens caps as well (10000uF/63V) at Ebay and they still measure well (capacitancewise).
The best deal I ever made.
Besides Siemens caps are known to have really good specs.
But Epcos now has taken over the production (like the Sikorel series).

Jens

No longer available

Dear all,

I still receive mails from all over the community for the PHILIPS BC caps. Sadly enough i am not able to supply these excellent caps anymore they are all SOLD OUT.

For those of you who are interested in caps, there is enough stock of high quality ROE (snap in) caps. 6800uF/50V 105 degrees. These caps are brand new and for sale for only EURO 1.50 each. For larger numbers there is a discount.

best regards
Piersma

caps against heatsinks

Again I received caps from Sjerko - as last time they arrived in perfect condition and I´m very happy that I have them!!

Thanks very much Sjerko - it`s great to deal with You!!

Just as in former times when one used to deal salt against flour - we traded heatsinks against caps 😎
