I was only pulling your leg😉 I saw those dents only on Philips caps and I think they somehow reduce resonances.

It´s probably better that the caps have been used a while than stored uncharged for more than 10 years.

Ups, indeed my mistake to not read through carefully.
As I always have an eye on electronic junk at ebay I just thought I might pass the link.
I bought some old Siemens caps as well (10000uF/63V) at Ebay and they still measure well (capacitancewise).
The best deal I ever made.
Besides Siemens caps are known to have really good specs.
But Epcos now has taken over the production (like the Sikorel series).

As you probably all know the dents on the PHILIPS BC caps are there for safety reasons. If there is a inside pressure build-up the..........

I still receive mails from all over the community for the PHILIPS BC caps. Sadly enough i am not able to supply these excellent caps anymore they are all SOLD OUT.

For those of you who are interested in caps, there is enough stock of high quality ROE (snap in) caps. 6800uF/50V 105 degrees. These caps are brand new and for sale for only EURO 1.50 each. For larger numbers there is a discount.
