Its does genuinely work first time and everytime with the formula's listed above this post.

I'm doing construction in two parts, the bottom section and the top. These will eventually meet after I've done all the angle work that has been discussed.

I've gone a little overboard with the glue and it squeezed out when clamped together. It looks a mess at the moment but all the excess will sanded off with the palm sander, the rest of the joints will be hidden behind another layer of 18mm MDF and then a 9mm MDF skin to provide a virtually joint free surface to spray.
And here's the mitre setup and the resulting cuts, its very easy once you actually know what you need to set it at:

I've got an old copy of Autocad that I sometimes use but to be honest its a real pain setting these types of cuts that I'm needing. Easier and quicker to just use trial and error in that case.
What I wanted was something that could be used very quickly and with variable angles. This will now make future stuff much easier to build.

No cement baffle unfortunately. Have a word with Scott again since he's done that type of thing before.

I'm in the UK, the garden has a tropical flavour though with stuff like palm tree's and other such shrubbery.
If you look in those shots, you'll see its doing the usual UK weather ie. raining.
I spent 8 weeks in London a few years back during spring time and it only rained once. The people were in shock.

Hey, no worries.
I was going to try something anyway and MDF is very cheap. The important thing is I learned something else! 🙂

I think I have 3 now, one lives with a 1/4" halfround bit in it as it saves time resetting the depth each time.

Yep think it was £30, I use it it a lot too.
The yellow one has more torque than an F1 car, think its 1650w/25,000 rpm its 'kin scary when its wound up anyway, but its so damn weighty. Only thing I use it for now is the driver cutouts, the rest is the little grey thing that weighs nothing and is easy to handle.

EDIT: Actually in my defense I was drinking whilst doing all the bracing. By the end I was half p1ssed. Nothing like a good drink whilst woodworking, do it fairly often because it helps to steady my hands 😀

You know what Scott, in all the time I've been mixing power tools and the odd beer I've never once injured myself, I've injured the work I've been doing but not myself.
Believe in jinx's? My next progress post will now be a story about how I spent 4 hours down in A&E. 😀
