After searching a long time now for the best subwoofer in a small enclosure there's only one way to go: XLS10 with XLS PR ! 31,5 litres netto with around 22hz -3db
But, some of you know and some not...peerless discontinued the XLS series !!! I thought damn, what alternative subs are out there? Answer: There are still no alternative out!
Ok, as the trancesetter said "the search goes on" and i found and bought some pcs. XLS 10....ok...but what PR can i use? ...the search goes on and...booom.....i found this:

I put the XLS10 with this scan speak PR in unibox and it gave me exatly the same simulation as with the XLS PR !! ...but with one advantage: The scan has 28mm linear excursion !!!! This gives 6 mm more than the XLS PR !!!
Now i'm ready and my plan is building 2 subs with XLS10+Scan PR 🙂
Ok, there's a scanspeak activ driver 26W/4558T00 which is designed for the scan PR ...but if you put the scan active with the scan PR (or XLS PR) in unbox this is not as good as with the XLS10 active !! The old XLS10 active driver is still necessary but now...R.I.P
