Exactly and some more other tricks in the sleeve. 😀Maybe with a buffer like FO ?
Has anybody tried this Peeceebee with two 19v switch mode laptop power supplies?

Sorry ,just now i see that your answer is about the parallel version...Hi donovas. None has.

Why not, if not in this thread? 😉
The PeeCeeBee will remain sleeveless. This way it looks exactly what it is. End of story.

If the supplies do not have earth connection then you can use them.
PeeCeeBee can be run at +/-15V, but available power before output clipping may be 5 to 10watts max, and THD may increase dramatically unless input and VAS current is increased substantially. IMO, there is little point below 28V. But yes, the circuit sure will work at lower voltage.
Ok Shaan thanks again. If the supplies do not have earth connection then you can use them.

Just if it's possible, please answer about the absolute maximum voltage (power supply)
Hi Thimios,
I have try it with +/-33VDC it is normal operating, then I use +/-38VDC & the VAS transistor BD139-140 + 10 ohm resistor is burned because I don't adjust the VAS current (both 15k resistors) ... I thought +/-40VDC is max if you use BD139-140 pair but I explode it at +/-38VDC 😀 ... you can try it, I was lucky the lateral mosfet is rugged enough

Hi thimios.
The absolute max voltage for the MOSFETs is +/-56V. For this voltage you will need three changes.
1. MPSA42, MPSA92 at input.
2. MJE340, MJE350 at Vas.
3. 15k resistors replaced with 33k. If VAS current too low then 27k.

As you wish, minimal modification, same active parts count, VSSA sounds so much better. You need to experiment more. Why not, if not in this thread? 😉

Andrej, as you know, 'upgraded so much better VSSA' is not the topic of this thread.
I have mentioned this once before [including the first post], how many more times do I need to remind you of this?
Thanks for your co-operation.

anybody build parallel output version? better drive? better bass? very curious 😀
Do you want to build one?
If you do, then a design is waiting for you in post #1011 and #1021.
Check it out!

You've got me wrong, I meant few modiff to VSSA original (which pecebe is) can do better.
Andrej, your message has been clear to me, all the time.
You, on the other hand, seem to take me wrong when I meant to say that this is not the thread for those claims and declaration, valid or invalid.
I will try this last time to make it clear as daylight for you.

The first post contains the rule, even more specific, clear and unoffensive. Apparently you have not read it or completely ignored it. Whatever, now please remember that from now on I shall not be tolerating people who disregard the thread rules. Trust me this thread won't go down the drain if you 'too' follow the thread rules.

Thank you for understanding.
There won't be any further argument posts from me on the matter.

i can p2p additional pair with my existing configuration, no? if so, i will soon 😀
Sure. Just use gate stoppers on every FET and keep the Source tracks as short as possible.

thx shaan..
but vssa/peeceebee lazy cat's baby.. :/
lazy cat, please let me know when you get my pm 😀
