I can confirm it works that way, there is also a document on atrim's website... too bad I didn't see it on time...
at least with the mains they go standard, brown, white, black, pink...

PS: sidenote, don't forget to mount some sort of copper foil/plate over the digital chips and then ground them with a wire. very important, go try with and without, you'll see what I mean.

I'm happy with it, nice bass and all, but a bit soft for my taste with some tunes... I have to play with the parts some more...
(for now BG 0.1 for decoupling, BG 100uF std for analog, bg 4.7 for output, mica for C124/121, dale/rikens eveywhere where important...)

Too soft ehh?
Try Caddock TO20 for I/V, TDA1541S2 double crown, Reclocker (a must) 100nf Multicap RTX for decoupling of -15v😉
I use 470R caddock,3n3 polypropylene and 220nf polypropylene (low inductance) for the CS8412 filter
Mine sounds
the dynamics are the best I have heard from a cd source.
Also are you using Panasonic FC's for the large value caps in the PSU's before the regulators? I tried the FC's but they klled the sound, the bass was almost flabby so I now use standard types instead of low esr types.
All the other caps are BG's

I'd be interested in one. It has to be cheaper for me to get one shipped from the UK than get a custom wound one in the States.
Great.
Nullspace - just wanted to check - are you aware this could be quite expensive to ship to the US?
BTW, qty 10 gives the biggest discount per person, but discounts are still available if we have to go with less than 10.

WTF? I checked out UPS to see what shipping might be to 08077 from London for a 3kg. package and it came out to something like 60GBP, more than a hundred bucks to me. I thought it would around $30-40, which I can live with - apparently not.
That's nuts. Is there a cheaper alternative, otherwise I'll have to withdraw my name.

I think we would get Antrim to ship directly (from Northern Ireland) - there are definitely cheaper options than UPS.
If I can assume that the transformers are still going to be around 45GBP, than I can probably cough up another 25GBP or so for shipping. That still gets me in for just a small premium over VM.
Best I can find quickly is about £30-£35, with a DHL reseller.
