I have contacted Peavey with no response yet. I am talking about the 300 series power amp with transistor preamp for Bass.
Hi Jon, that is the KB300, he has the Bass 300. older amp 1971. The forum thread you linked is for the right amp though.

Not at all, but don't mix them. I stocked the MJ15024 as a more or less universal replacement for most PV stuff.
