I would describe the sine from 0 to pi/2 as convex. The sine
from 3pi/2 to 0 as concave.

Thank You Mr. Pass, regarding your characteristic FET curve comments. I need to digest a little of that... But, I guess like most DIYer's, I really need to stop looking for the elusive ideal components and evaluate, optimize and finish my current design... Before something more intersting comes around??? Or, the end of the year was it???

after NP has used 200 JFETS we can start begging him for the remaining 4800.
Does make me wonder how to attach those strange TO25* packages to a heatsink.
Never realised those boards are free-hanging on the heatsink.
That heatsink is some piece of work, btw.

Minimum purchase at Lovoltech is 2500 pieces, and I believe
they have the parts at this time.
Also, the board is actually attached to the sink via 6 bolts.

My point was to be that the 2500pcs minimum is for tape-and-reel with pre-formed leads.
The full lead length part comes in tubes of 75pcs, with a $1K per line item minimum.

Jacco...Sort of. scared. 😱 Just thinking about starting GBs make me scared. After all that's going on with PCBs and parts.

The F3 manual is very informative......and long.
May i suggest using the word "authoritatively" on the next interview.
