After a long wait, my boards are finally here.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Were those sitting on the doc of the Bay? (from e ba y)?.
I bought some from there, and i like em!.
I love the output devices spacing, (on a 35cm sink).
Puts your input and outputs close to rear panel too.
You can tell Papa designed them.
Indeed they were. Took about a month to get to South Africa, but worth the wait.
I have an order in for most of the components, so hope to get started on them soon.
So after completing a 3rd pair... These are the results....

Great work!
Do you thnk your heatsinks are big enough?
Cheers!
Thank you.
Heat sinks aren't big enough at all. Get to over 55 degrees C real quick at full bias. Busy shopping around for bigger ones at the moment.

Try to put a fan on them

That's what I'm doing now.
Thank you.

Temp will not rise that much if the fins are free and vertical for air convection
Best,

It got to over 50 degrees with the HS standing vertical. With a TINY desk fan it drops to about 10 degrees above ambient. So I need to find a larger and more efficient heat sink.
it will be much more efficient if cut in two halves per length , then positioned with fins vertical
with piece that long , you have maybe just 1,3 of capability of one half
This is just a piece of HS that I use for testing, so not worried at all. Just needed to make sure everything actually works.
