Paralleling Aleph 3

Hallo I have two Aleph 3 and I want to drive Magnepans 1.7 (impedance 4 ohm, flat, resistive but inefficient). This speaker has only one set of binding post, it doesn't permit biamping.
I know that the Aleph is optimized for 4 ohm loads (it delivers on that load 55w but not enough for the Maggies).
Is it a wise move to parallel each amp?
What will I gain?
What I lose?
Is this configuration changing the input characteristics of each amp?

Thanks

yes , you can put two channels in parallel

just feed both inputs with same signal , and connect channel outputs in parallel

maybe , for better sleep , you can put 0R1 in series with each output , then parallel them ...... but it will work even without that
