Sorry to hear that your forthcoming article has taken a Dickensian or Dostoyevskian turn.
Or Tolstoyan. You say "War and Peace", but in the end it's certainly "Anna Karenina" - the finally happy marriage between Kitty and Levin i.e. Lowther and Eminence. 🙂
My wife Lilly actually permits me to build them, provided I embellish the baffle with posters, photo collages or even with... ivy! 😀
Hi Zenmod, is that the Pass forums name for this device, or is it the manufacturers. What actually is it?

You failed to hit the link button to the Muhammed ra-SIT bookie.

Hi,
Nelson, thanks for the info. But...oh...as soon as I find out one thing, something else pops up in mu mind: Since this is first order passive crossover, i guess that the whole speaker (bass+fullrage) is actively equalized before the crossover. Or, let's say it this way: There was a B5, but only its EQ functions are used, and then the crossover can be just a first order passive. Advantage: One amp only, no phase problems...
Regarding SIT's, very good move. Make you own wine, with home grown grapes! Ferrari, no...it's like bying expensive wine from a shop. You drink one bottle, and that's it.

That's the one alright...

One speaker was the huge open baffle with just the new, lots cheaper SEAS full-range (about $100, not the Exotic) No woofer on this one..
It had side walls, it was not a "monkey coffin" it was "people coffin" sized
The other pic with the interchangeable baffle is the Lowther driver, which is the speaker paired with a 15" woofer. BOB I think

Sign up for Madisound updates - they are going to carry it, and they update when they get a new product in. Even if you buy elsewhere, it will give you an idea of availability.

know the model ?
Overhere, 72" would be the Medium model.

Watt's next?
I wonder if these thoughts cross his mind...
Phono stage?
Extremely high voltage amplifier like a tube amp but solid state?
A DAC?
Best one yet... A Tuner! ?

What?...
The only tuner with beans out there takes a few hundred dollars in modifications to even be good...
Mr. Pass could work magic in moments to produce something with 1/4 of the parts.

A Class A tuner, that'll be the day.
Actually I have been thinking about something like this, but I have know idea where to start.
Are there any good FM tuner designs on diyaudio (or anywhere else) that you know of.
Dantimax (elektronik) - Tuner_kits
That has been featured on here. Nothing looks impressive about the output sections. I am thinking that the amplification on all stages could be vastly improved with ideas floating around in Mr. Pass's head.
