I love those little amps. I've built many portable units since I started this thread..
Been using 5 volt bank batteries for the power supply. The ElCheepos work better without the low current sense circuitry. The more expensive bank batteries want to shut down because the amp doesn't draw enough current to keep it turned on..

Hi fellas, I also love this amp, my #1 go to amp when somebody ask about DIY amp. Battery powered and all that's needed is to hook up some wires. Great sound for the deal as well.
