Oxygen Audio AirPro M2.5K

Hello
I have a problem with my Oxygen Audio AirPro M2.5K amplifier.

When I turn it on, the green indicator lights up then the protection indicator lights up and its without the power MOSFETS.

I did some tests = a 7812 HS regulator and at the driver board level I had HS transistors such as Q5 Q9 Q12 Q6
Do you have any ideas of what to try out?

Q5 is DK mark QF is it 2SC4672?

What about Q9 2SA1797?
Where can i find them or any substitutions?

Thanks a lot and sorry for the language it's google translate.

Hello
Here some pics or my amplifier.

I had test some transistor ans i found Q5 ans q6 was in shortcut. I've change them with bd139 ans bd140 juste for test but same results : i have 89v at gate or the power MOSFET. The amplifier come in protection a few minutes after power on.
On the power supply i see that the amplifier use 1amper and no more when he IS on protection.
Do you have some idea ?

Please read the following section on taking photos.
bcae1.com - Car Amplifier Repair Tutorial - The Basics

While powering up, monitor the DC voltage on the output filter inductors Do you ever see any DC voltage there?

Do you have a scope?

Please (and this applies to anyone who needs repair help) use your sig line to list all equipment you have, editing it as equipment changes. Include the model numbers.

Top of page, menu USER CP >> EDIT SIGNATURE

Oscilloscope (yes or no)
Multimeter(s)
Type of signal source (grounded RCA shields preferred).
Soldering iron
Desoldering pump
Power supply
2 ohm current limiting resistor (hollow cylindrical ceramic 100w preferred)

Hi all
After several years i have decide to look again at this amplifier.
First if someone can tell me how to edit my signature i'm Ok

To start here is my equipment list:
- a soldering iron JBC 30s (25watts)
-Desoldering pump
  • a VOLTCRAFT 632FG
  • a digital multimeter OHMTEC réf. 254089
-No Power supply (for the moment i use a power supply of a computer
- I don't have any 2 ohm current limiting resistor (hollow cylindrical ceramic 100w preferred)

While powering up, monitor the DC voltage on the output filter inductors Do you ever see any DC voltage there?
I will check it this weekend.

Thanks a lot for your answer

Hi all
After several days i come back to the news.
As a reminder i take off the output mosfet the amplifier start well
the relay engage
I took several measure and here is the result:
Pre-amp card:
OUT= 0v -15V= -14,8v
XXX= 0v GND= 00,1V
REM= 11,9v +15V= +15,2V
AGND= 0v VR= 00,1V
PT_ON= 00,1v IN= 00,1V

DMW1216X_V20 CARD:

1-1= -72,3V
1-2= -72,3V
1-3= -60,6V
1-4= -72,2V
1-5= 72,5V
1-6= 61,1V
1-7= 72,7V

2-1= -14,8V
2-2= -4,6V
2-3= 00,1V
2-4= 00,1V
2-5= 5,1V
2-6= 15,2V
2-7=0V
2-8= 0V

3-1= 72,7V
3-2= 61,1V
3-3= 72,5V
3-4= -72,2V
3-5= -60,3V
3-6= -72,4V
3-7= -72,3V

Without output transistor here is the voltage for Q45,33,15,14,33,43,24,7,6 and 5:

G= -73,4V
D= 0,01V
S= -73,4V

for Q44,10,11,12,30,42,2,3,4 and 18:

G=72,5V
D=0,01V
S=72,4V

All measure was doing with the black probe to the ground off the power supply
I think i have a problem with the ground of the 7812 and 7912 regulator.
Have you some ideas of the cause of the problem?
Thank you for your help

I don't know if it's normal but the ground of the +12v and the -12v is not common between them and at the other ground.

When i want to take some measure on U1 i heard the relay disengage and the power supply slowly decreases.

Have you some ideas?
