I choose not to look at them as unfinished projects…they are “works in progress”…otherwise known as “the que”…hoarding is a myth. 😉

I have maybe ten tube amp projects (some may be scrapped), 3-4 SS projects and 1-2 hybrids.
Add to that two synthesizers I am "repairing/refurbishing", another three synth kits "in progress" (thanks Chromenuts!) and some 15 (or so) DIY synth modules and 3 sequencers ...
Then there all the small projects like stuffing a classD-amp into a box, finally fixing a timer for a crappy digital camery to use it for time ...lost the word - take one shot every minute, etc.

My brain overheated causing a blown HEAD gasket. This allows the oil and water to mix and both get pushed around by hot exhaust gas. Now all the projects get scrambled together and none of them work. So, why is there a VCO in my tube amp, and a 5AR4 in my battery powered music synthesizer? Nevermind, I'll just play my guitar.......Now, is that a chord, or a cord?

Why do you think speakers come in pairs? One to "finish & the other set to languish unfinished as we move on to other ideas.

That is the DIYer NORMAL state of mind.
Unless he´s here to argue capacitors, cables or UFOs, those never actually BUILD anything, their thrills come from other sources 🙄
