Hi ZungLeak Stereo 60 OPT: it's OK, but not the greatest
I see you have that from the Third Ediiton of my book. 🙂
The information came from one of Leak's design engineers, after he dismantled a Stereo 60 output transformer.
Kind Regards
Steve
Yes. In this case Basically, keep the winding direction of primary 1 and primary 4 (anode chunks) as the same winding direction as the secondary. Reverse-wind the Primary 2 and 3 (B+ chunks).
To be easily understandable.
..................................................................................................................................................
Normal winding direction of a primary chunk

Input-----Layer1------------

Reverse winding direction of a primary chunk

To reverse wind, you don't necessarily have to change the motor direction of your machine. Just detach the coil mandrel and reverse it in the other direction 180 deg. Note that lead-outs will also be swapped, so if you have begun your wire lead-outs from the left side of the coil, to reverse wind you'll have to start from the right side.
