Measure the DC voltage on all power supply pins of the op-amps after the LED goes out (assuming that that's still happening). Place the black probe on the RCA jack shields for this.
There are 6 in the amp. Check voltage on all of their power supply pins. You don't have to post all of the voltages. Just confirm that they're all near what they should be. Do this after the LED goes dim.
i get 5.63 ohms on one and 5.70 ohms on the other. voltages are 2.63vdc and -2.63vdc respectively. sorry, forgot to account for my test lead resistance.
brain fart there, i was checking voltage after the power led goes out. upon applying remote power i get positive and negative 35 volts on the lm317 and lm337 5.6ohm resistors respectively using the rca shield as ground.
