no, haven't tried it (yet) -but I don't expect any big surprises if/when I do.. opa541am -> perfect subwoofer/hard working chip.

right now I'm working on my new Aleph5 clone 🙄

I've just purchased a couple pairs of OPA541 and I'm wondering if they need to be matched as pairs the same way individual FETs do?

You might sort them for lowest DC offset. That's one difference between them.
