In another post this amp was discussed. I've decided to start a new thread just for this amp because its so unique.

A Schmatic is Available. Its not a great schmatic but its complete.

This is not a amp to start learning audio amplification with...

With 14 TB34's per channel in the last stage, it would double as a arc welder.

Onkyo must of had a bunch of extra components kicking around and decided to make a amp with it....

Now the question is how did they come up with specs like that. I don't see anything unique in the CCT that justifies such low distortion levels.

I wonder how much of the circuitry can be removed and still have a fantastic amplifier....
