Need to know if power transformer of old Ongaku amps are prepared to work 60Hz and 50Hz. For example, a 120V unit suposed to be 60Hz, can work either at 50Hz ? I have contacted Audionote in JP but no answer. I thought the best was to ask someone at DIYaudio and kindly ask for help.Thank you in advance.

Because nothing inside a tube (valve) is made of silver i think silver is highly overrated.While in theory you have the schematic captured, but the silver wire transformers, blackgate capacitors, silver switches, silver capacitors, Silver wire, silver jacks, and custom resistors are all part of the overall sound of the original amplifier. You get a taste , but not the full flavour without them.......
