Current draw trannies
William,
My Aleph 5 monoblocks are biased at 2.2 A and my final railvoltages are at 31.5 V. So, if I am correct, the power supplied by the trannies amounts to 150 W each. The trannies are therefore slightly overrated😉 The bass response of my Alephs is awesome. Hope this is the information you were looking for.

each Mosfet get´s his own source resistor of 0,33Ohms wich in my case are 3 paralleled 1 Ohm resistors. The output resistors are only used once.
Thanks, William.
transformers
Hi Walter,
I tried to contact Mr. Müller at FG but he´s on holiday so I spoke to another guy.
After explaining the buzzing problem and the setup he told me that he didn´t think his transformers would be quieter.
The problem is that they don´t have any 17-18V transformers ready otherwise he would have sent me one to try.
So now I´m back at zero again. The only option would be buying one to see if it is quiet wich could be a 130€ mistake.
Another possibility would be to use two 500VA transformers and stack them.....
