I have a Maxon motor and a press fit pulley to go on it, just wondered about the best way to do the 'press fit' part?
Pulley fit
In general, I typically heat the pulley to expand the bore and drop it over the shaft.
If you must press, you must do it in such a way that you press straight, with even controlled pressure and not transfer the thrust through the bearings.

Thanks. Searching around the net I have found references to heating the pulley in the oven and cooling the motor in the freezer, so will maybe give this a try.
Remax ?
Hi Copydex,
which Remax are you using is it the 226764 as
mentioned by Mark Kelly ?
or 226779 ?
I'm fitting a new motor to my Oracle Delphi and I'll be running it from a bench supply until I make a better motor supply.
I got a mate to turn me a motor pod from a lump of oak.
Regards, Jules
