I ordered 10 pcs from transistormosfet. The package is in the USA but not to me yet. When I receive the package, I will curve trace the lot and post the results in this thread. It could be a week or more before the package gets to me. I will also characterize Vgs and transconductance at some Vds and Id to see how far the spread is for the 10 pcs. My experience with the lot from Mr. Pass's stash of LU1014D, leads me to believe that a minimum of 100 pcs will be required to make matched pairs of the entire lot.
I ordered 10 from yoycart on a whim when this thread started. They are used pulls. Looking forward to testing them with help from this crazy bunch of SIT-heads.

Hi Nelson, thanks for keeping us greedy boys in the game. Could you help us find a reliable source for these devices? They seem to be vanishing from previous providers, and with all the fake devices in the market, reliable sources seem the exception rather than the rule. - DavidThe Evil Pass would have purchased them all, but the Nice Pass bought a just few so that he could design a nice project of them for DIYers.
Assuming they pan out you will see that before long...

I also got my delivery.
I noticed the seller has changed the listing to make it a single device. This is obviously a fraud attempt.
Those whose orders on aliexpress were cancelled are the lucky ones.
Did anyone else get something from aliexpress?
Aliexpress has offered a refund of CAN $31.26. I paid a total of CAN $34.73, including shipping, so I am holding out for the full amount on principle. I still have Paypal and my credit card as backup if I don't get any satisfaction from Aliexpress.
I also just submitted a dispute claim for the full amount of $34.73 CAD.

Dennis, I have enough SIT/VFET amps so yes, I am ready to try something else. I was just reading about the beast this morning and it is definitely something that I am interested in building.
