I really like jpg's approach although I'd suggest using the previous flynhawaiian's Object2 logo above and the icons below - I'd assume even smaller icons with thinner line would do fine with this design. The "power in specs" being articulated in the panel might be ok as well.
Very nice design concept - potential to become the iconic (pun intended) object2 design. With or without implementing the ideas above - this design I second as a choise of design. I'd like one.

It's an interesting approach. Do people like this design better than one with words?
I prefer the one with words (it avoids any confusion).
I really like JPG's design. It has very clean lines and suits the minimalist but functional concept of the O2 very well.
Maybe, as goshflardon said, it would be good to have the full name 'Objective 2' above, in the same style lettering and the symbols below.
Not sure if this would be too cluttered on the small facia though without seeing it.
Might look better on the larger pcb desktop version rocket scientist is working on at the moment.
Definately think the size and style of the lettering is good and would be interest in this panel or a variation of it's design.

Not sure how you guys might like this version, but I was a little bored and playing with autocad so let me know. It needs a bit more tweaking but you get the idea.

Personally I like words better than images, but this new design provides only 2 "jpg" images. 1 showing the power light, I’m not sure it's even needed. The other a headphone image. I need to clean it up a bit, but you get the general idea. Autocad and front panel express don't get along very well, it seems.
Oh, nice. This also looks quite well. I like the O2 logo and the headphone symbol the most. The 'In' seems a bit out of place there though, it kind of sticks out. Maybe because it's too big? The 'off' is also a bit floating around in the middle of nowhere there.
I'd say the simpler the better. Since I would be the primary and probably only user of my O2 - I'd be happy with the power specs (with bazillion adapters in the closet it's nice to have a reference in the device) and a note of which jack is in (I) and which one is out (O). I assume I could tell a led from the gain pot easily - even after a glass of wheat beer. "Objective2" in the original simple font on top is functionally required, though. Insert smiley here.
jpg, I like your design because it's stylish and minimalistic, but there is one thing about it that looks out of place to me. Why are the "G" and "O2" tilted, while everything else is straight?
I have a doubt regarding these panels: are they the ones of B2 cases? I mean, you have to send the panels and these guys make the holes and prints for you? Because if not I don't understand... we would have these panels and the original ones, it would be a waste of money I think.
Also, I have one black and one red B2 cases. If the panels aren't the original ones from the cases, can they make them in different (and expectedly similar to cases') colors others than black?

The GB will be completely new panels I believe. There is an option for using 'own material', but that'll be slower and a total pain to organise.
You could always get the file and send them the original panels. You wouldn't have the volume discount, but it's also cheaper, since they aren't providing you with the aluminium themselves.

Kalin,
You save very little by sending the original panels, and what you would save would probably be eaten up by postage sending them in. On top of that, you're looking at around $15 each in single qty for these panels, where you'll be getting them for under $10 from the Group buy. There is no word back on whether they will include different colours or not, but I suspect Black will be the color of the bulk of the group buy and that's where we'll get the best discount. You might be out of luck on the Red..
