Mr. Didden, aren't you familiar with dB and watts? 0.5 volts, 1 volts, whatever is very unimportant unless you have exceptional losses. Don't you agree?

Per,

Did you miss my earlier post?

I qoute:

"But Eva, it may be splitting hairs but in theory you can never get at the rails, there is always some loss, no? There's always some Vds required to operate. I'm talking about the output getting to the supply rails.
The highly marketed rail-to-rail opamps get close, but not exactly there. But again, I don't want to split hairs."

Sufficient?

hello Diy-ers,

this is my first post to forum.

are you talking here about rms ?? swinging to rails

all the best from Peter

Hello Peter,
Welcome to this Thread!

I think we are talking about Peak magnitude of output voltage swing to touch the rails that is power supply bus, with minimum possible rail loss....

Hi!

OK Kanwar then I move ahead :

a) 4 pair OP devices

b) Copper pour on GND line

c) Seprate line for elivated negative rail.

d)Fuses on supply rails

e) DC protection, PCB mount relay based

f) Couple of caps more on PSU on board here there

g) RFC in OP.

Nothing much else I can think of for now.

BTW any suitable preamps for this one??

Regards

Rahul

Hi Rahul ,

Nice points....go Ahead!

Preamp:Use any discrete or opamp based preamp which is capable of delivering atleast 3V RMS at 1K load impedance...with wide frequency response.....

Which software are you going to use for making the PCB layout...?

Hi Adam,

Here's it is what i mean to say about double D aDDam....😀 😉

Hello Rahul ( And others... )

I've been reading along on the project, mighty interesting!!

- When the PCB is done, maybe some dudes could be interested in buying some PCB's... - I know i would, for sure... - Could that be possible??
As i unfortunately don't have easy acces to making PCB's myself...!!

Sincerely, Lars / Viborg
