THE HEAVY HITTERS ACOUSTIC PROJECT - A Little Bit Closer

This Preview/Purchase page gives compressed preview versions of the songs.
The other night I downloaded the WAV file album which turned out to be 44k/24 bit, a nice surprise and welcome feature of modern downloads....8 Euros well spent.
The compressed preview versions sound quite fine and give some idea, but the HD Wav version is light years better in all ways.

Today I have taken a closer listen on my A system.
The recording was the band Live in the studio, and my filters were used on the audio signal multicore cable and the audio interface USB cable.
I am totally bowled over by the clarity, articulation, groove and sense of power captured in this recording.
I can't think of any recordings that I have in my 1.5Tb Wav/Flac/HD music collection that go near to this production in all terms of SQ.
So, I have to take back what I said in my previous post, that recording now sounds like poop.

Someone/Everyone please go to the preview page and take a listen, and if you like it, buy it and let me know what you find on 'your' system.
I am most interested to hear opinions of the sound, and how well it translates on other PB systems.

One thing I have found is that if you have a clean system you are going to run out of amplifier power....RNM excepted ?.

Kodály: Esti dal

Erdő mellett estvéledtem
Subám fejem alá tettem.
Összetettem két kezemet,
Úgy kértem jó Istenemet:

Én Istenem adjál szállást ,
Már meguntam a járkálást,
A járkálást, a bujdosást,
Az idegen földön lakást.

Adjon Isten jó éjszakát,
Küldje hozzánk szent angyalát,
Bátorítsa szívünk álmát,
Adjon Isten jó éjszakát!

Well even in compressed form, the sound is clean and clear, without an over processed feel. I can hear that it's been worked, but it still very sweet. Shows what good digital can do.

The music and musicians are good, too, but it's not enough in my musical tastes for me to buy it.
