The best "Sanctus" i ever heard.
That seems interesting. What recording is it? (That is, if
you think it is good so you recommend it.)
A stark contrast to most of the music mentioned in this thread...
Usher - Confessions
A Tribe Called Quest - Hits, Rarities & Remixes
Vanessa Carlton - Be Not Nobody (live)

1 - George Benson - "Take Five"
obviously he does take five on this album, and it's very well done, but this is the best album i have because it has got the most amazing rendition you'll ever hear of that old classic "summertime"... man, he can play guitar, but have you ever heard him sing???
2 - Miles Davis - "Doo - Bop"
ok, it's all like hip hop, and 80's rap and all this home boy music crap which is a bummer, but i tell you what, he's such an amazing musician he makes it good. i love this for some of his beatiful lines, and his pure creativity. what a genius.
3 - Frenzal Rhomb - "Not so tough now"
now for something completly different. (used to be) great aussie punk band! this album has got to be when they were at their best in my opinion. they started going downhill from this one on, but they're still great.
4 - Herbie Hancock - "Gershwins world"
this is an amazing album. herbie and friends recreates some of gershwin's work beautifully. i don't like some of the stuff on here, like his return to his classical roots stuff, but for the most part it's a great album.
5 - Buzzcocks - "ever fallen in love?"
another punk band. old school brit punkers from 70's. good honest punk rock. love it.
that's my top 5 for now.

Amazing...after two something years, I am sitting and playing Delicate Sound of Thunder again. I think this is THE BEST pf album, maybe because I listened to it on my very first DIY speakers 10 years ago 😉 Some type of 10" driver and horn tweeter .

@Christer
It is the Chandos Digital version from 1997. Not the very best recording IMHO but Schnittke CDs are hard to get at all.
I think the BIS recordings are better.

Been in a "harder" mood this past month so i brought Fear Factory's "Digimortal". Very well done (death?) metal, with industrial touches and even poppy choruses. Good stuff.
Also, Smashing Pumpkins' "Siamese Dream".
