However, I listened recently to Deep Dish - Toronto (Global Underground series). I think it might be their best yet.

Tom Waits is one of the best things to make a system up
unfortunately most recordings sound a bit crap!
ATM i listen to some Tinitus Maskers that hopefully get rid
of my 6,5kHz Tinitus 🙁
**** happens, and this one i hope nobody over here will have
to go thru at any time of his life...

I only have Arrivals and Departures from the GU series. What do the covers and CD graphics look like?
Try Peace Orchestra - Peace Orchestra. A friend loaned it to me and now I have to find it somewhere.
🙂ensen.
lately ive picked up a few cds to listen to. there are about 3 that are in constant rotation in my player now:
a perfect circle - the thirteenth step ( w o w )
plastikman - consumed (really repetative, but genius in the same way)
massive attack - mezzanine (JUST got into this cd, and i am amazed i hadnt sooner)

I gotta get that one as well. "Weak and powerless" is such a great track it's worth the price of the cd.
im actually ADDICTED to the first track, "the package". the recording blows me away each time. some of the best recorded bass ive heard, as well as creepy vocals that cut right through everything else. ooooh, putting it back in now 🙂

I don't know if you have the first album ("Mer de noms"), but it's beyond belief too. One of the best rock debuts in history in my book.
Besides, the violinis/bassist was Argentinian 😉

oh yeah, ive heard their first. it is but the reason i bought the new one the day it came out.
whats an argentinian? oh, is that like the drummer from def leppard? j/k 😉

actually, isnt the lead singer of system of a down argentinian? (say what you want about them, but i really enjoy system of a down) and the lead singer is their best part!

it this the new one?
yes, just came out this tuesday. its got a little something for everyone. its a little bit more light than their first, and certainly more so than tool (if you want to compare the two).
but, it is a great recording, i was asking myself (is this an HDCD, and when did i get an HDCD player?). it was $10 at circuit city, well worth the cash.
