Amazing live concert for the last two days
Willie Nelson has been having his picnic music festivile for the last two days. I am listening to Neil Young and Crazy Horse now - Willie will close the show in about an hour. XM has been broadcasting it live and its been very good. Listened to the Dead last night.

Compact disc from The beach boys called pet sounds. Really brings back good memories. But it sounds like a 50euro transistor radio from the sixties. Really no balance at all. Hope the next one is better!
pet sounds is in mono, if i'm not mistaken. there is a cd of remixes out there too. don't know much about it.

A Dvorak violin concerto to die for
Gramophone had this as one of their "Recordings of the Month", I picked it up at HMV and played it last night -- this will be remembered as one of the great performances of Dvorak -- Violin Concerto OP 53 with Sarah Chang, and Piano Quintet Op 81 with Leif Andsnes. EMI 7243557211-2.

Titanic - Original Soundtrack
Haunting. Brilliantly composed and recorded stuff that fully captures the dynamics. Great piece from James Horner.
Moves my wife to tears.

Great Southern Rock - listening to live set (bootleg).
What the world needs is more bootlegs and less over processed CD's. Although these guys make great albums too.

Peter Daniel said:Peter Gabriel: Passion (Music for The Last Temptation Of Christ movie). Not too many people are familiar with that recording, I find it refreshing every time I listen.
Also my favorite PG album 🙂

Planet-X- " Live from Oz" recorded in Melbourne...Great playing,,the music is a bit pointless something, as it usually happens when the younger gen virtuosos play together..but fun to listen once in awhile...
AKira Jimbo on drums and Brian Bromberg on bass, featuring Otmaro Ruiz on keys,,,Project JB...audiophile quality all around,,,one of the best CD's around....
