"Ladykillers" -- music from the Ealing Films -- the CD was a Gramophone Award Winner -- I can just see Alec Guinness in "Kind Hearts and Coronets".
Solar Apple Quarktette ~ probably best described as Acid Bossa Nova (Features Ian Carr the Jazz trumpeter). For those with Spotify:

Next, off to bed with Tangerine Dream's wonderful Phaedra ~ probably the most original and relaxing ambient ever:

Switched to classic:
Gustav Mahler Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection", conducted by Mahler's disciple Otto Klemperer.
Music from another dimension. My all-time-recommendation! 🙂

That's actually a pretty hi-fi recording. As I recall, there was a story
that a lot of the tracks came from the band's 8 track basement rig;
they just couldn't get the magic in the studio.
The B3 really sounds nice on that one
The CD remaster's prolly squashed to death though...
...Steely Dan - Aja

Currently, I am listening to "Let's fall in love", Diana Krall, through my Pyramin-V fine tube amp on solid state regulation rocks with bent by UPS Ground chassis.
The recording I listen to of Foreplay/It's been a long time is an MP3 ripped from god knows where but at a high bitrate. I would love to know which recording it is ripped from and get it on Vinyl.
And yes I think they put a lot of the "basement" stuff on the early albums. From what I heard the entire original band wasn't even signed.

Right now, nothing.
But lately I've been getting into Son Volt's new one. Really nice electric/alt/country thing.

Should SS amplifiers have their chassis bent as well? I could ship it to myself...

yes the Island Girl was certainly playing up storm in the 90's; to my taste, with the exception of "Girl in the Other Room", the last few albums were embarrassments, and the most recent sounds like the vocals were literally phoned in
there, I said it
