I can only imagine what that show was like.

It did not suck.
He does some rather stream-of-unconsciousness monologues between songs which are nearly as entertaining as the playing. My wife used to know him pretty well and tells me that he's exactly like that, it's not an act.
Just ordered his new cd.. Man you can't get much purer than this, great guitar sound and vocals, and a beautiful song..

Helicopters flying over to view the flooding. Petty impressive, but not nearly the bass I got from the 32 Apaches that flew over one day.
My wife nagging that I've had too many beer. Little does she know that it's actually whiskey.

Ha! I just finished watching that! Great flick, never seen it before. Some nice dance numbers. Don't forget the Tin Man (Jack Haley) is in it too.
But boy, I could tell that was Silver Springs and Cypress Gardens - not Miami.

The last two or three weeks my listening group has been enjoying I'm New Here by Gil Scott-Heron. I'd almost completely forgotten about the guy and boom! he releases a really fine album after a sixteen-year hiatus.
