Sure we can discuss how WIlma Mozart moved the first violins a bit to the left, or how Frank Zappa tuned his guitar that day, or how Miles Davis was mad at his landlord so he blew a little harder than usual or how Hendrix got a load of particularly good acid that day..
Maybe the teflon caps added a sense of bloom to the guitars, or the new Sovtek tubes give a conconmitent blare to Stravinsky... or perhaps limiting the feedback on them Yamagata custom FETs drives the drums with a better pacing move....
BUT... when it comes to it.. Mind you, I listen to it via Tidal... and I just upgraded the op amps in my DAC to Burson v7 Vivid... ( that's four opams... two dual and two single, it damn better sound good.... it does... ).

Hollywood has changed tremendously though.
Nowadays, it's a dump.
A sign of the deterioration, or lack of investment, is that video shot of the 101 Northbound in downtown LA where you see the interchange with exits to the SB110 (San Pedro) and NB110 (Pasadena).
Notice how the NB101, going up to Hollywood and Ventura is still three lanes! They should have bitten the bullet in the 80s and rebuilt the 101 to more lanes. The run from downtown LA to Hollywood is a parking lot.
