Hi Neuro_Control,
......you mean Miroslav Tadic ?!
The same one who recorded for CMP (german avantgarde Jazz Label) in the 80's and early 90's ?!
It's been a long time, since I last heard this stuff.
As far as I remember it was a bit too radical for my taste at that time, although technically brilliant, nevertheless.
He seems to have stayed with records labels who take recordings serious both artistically and technically.
(Judging from the impression of MA Records Website -- which is his the recording label to which he is associated now)
Since I haven't heard these recent recordings, this raises one question to me: Has his music grown a bit more "mass compatible" or, if you will "worldly" in the meantime ?
( By the way: you could easily call CMP an "audiophile" recording label if you will, but if I remember correctly, they rather take laurels for "pushing the envelope musically" .)
Greetings
SigFire

Tadic
Unfortunately I did not hear any of Tadic`s previous recordings.
Nevertheless,I do have 3 cds he recorded with Vlatko Stefanovski and all of them are traditional Macedonian folk music played with these two virtuosos.I think all 3 of these cds are released by different labels. I heard them twice alive and it was unforgettable, really.CDs are:
1.Krushevo
2.Live in Belgrade
3.Treta majka

Why put it on the CD Player when you can listen to it as you read the posts here? (I know CDs sound better but this is very good for via the Internet)
I wish I could find more sites like this!

Album now Playing:
Native North American Child
by Buffy Sainte-Marie
Buffy sings in her distinct powerful voice:
Hands on our hearts
We salute you your victory:
Choke on your blue white and scarlet hypocrisy.
Pitying your blindness; How you never see -
that the eagles of war whose wings lent you glory,
Were never no more than buzzards & crows:
Pushed some wrens from their nest;
Stole their eggs; changed their story.
The mockingbird sings it;
It's all that she knows.

DRAGON FORCE!!!
Don't get me wrong. I have total respect for the guys that started it all, but bands like Dragon Force and Pantera and Metallica Fing rock. Unbelivable fing rock. When your bpm = 200 and it is still melodic, you know what you are doing.

Danko said:Now enjoying: Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
😀
Me too and the rather refreshing sound of the background hiss. I can almost see the engineers in the studio! 😀
Listening to Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos from my Macbook wireless through Airport Express. Just got the airport installed. 🙂
I tried out the new DT album, but I didn't liked that. The last DT album, I liked was the "Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence". But the all-time-best DT album is /IMHO/ the Scenes From A Memory.
Now playin': George Benson - This Masquerade

i think the best DT album is Images and Words. Wasnt so impresse by the new album either. Now listening to Kent - Du & Jag Döden. Swedish band...
