Agustín Castellón Campos (16 de marzo de 1912, Pamplona, Navarra, España-Nueva York, EE. UU., 14 de abril de 1990), conocido como Sabicas, fue un guitarrista español, considerado maestro de la guitarra e impulsor de la internacionalización del flamenco. Fruto de esta internacionalización surgió la fusión del flamenco con otras corrientes musicales.

Es considerado, junto con Ramón Montoya, uno de los «pilares fundamentales de la guitarra flamenca».

Maty - a particularly emotionally resonant version for me of People get ready was Eva Cassidy - probably recorded when she had a pretty good idea that the multiple myeloma was gonna win.

For those who might give a flying fig, even though I've had Eva on my playlists for over 15yrs, I only just today ran across a YouTube compilation of work, all of which I've heard before, but was blessed to discover it included restored video of the "Live at Blue's Alley" session. A few hankies later, this was definitely the best hour and half I've ever wasted listening to music in probably the last decade. Her acoustic work never fails to raise goosebumps and a tear or two. Just a "girl and guitar?" OK by me. Very tasteful backup band as well.
