@moe29
Nice to have someone around with the same good taste in music 😉
Yes, the quality of the remasters are indeed clear. I had already most of the songs
from more or less horrible mp3 sources. Still some songs are missing.
For my taste the recording is a bit to maximized and is one of my loudest music all over,
i can´t really enjoy on my system when played loud.
This was on the Bloodflowers album already. Both don´t sound as good as the wonderfull
"Kiss me...."

Wombat,
The Cure will be releasing remastered versions of all their albums,
starting with the first four in late May of this year. Each album will
also come with a bonus disc of material culled from the archives
of the period - hand picked by Robert Smith. This is where we'll
get songs that didn't show up on the B-side compilation.
Robert Smith has spent tons of time going through all the old
material and pulling out the best stuff for these releases. I for one
continue to be amazed at Mr. Smith's respect and love for the long
time fan. But in retrospect this shouldn't be such a surprise, as
he's always been consistent in his excellence. 🙂
m. (sorry for the Cure rant!)

"Audioslave" - Audioslave
A great mix of Rage Against the Machine groove and one of the best r'n'r voices in history. Great album.
Also...

"Unplugged in NYC" - Nirvana
Hands down the best unplugged album i've heard.

Dunno what setup you use for MP3's but my experience with them is that there great for repetative digital music and minimilistic tracks but for any complex music the limited bandwidth and the loss of info in the encode simply doesnt do the track any justice, great for finding new artists and testing latest albums but for a sit back and enjoy experience they dont work.
A few months ago i heard alot of praise of a new codec FLAC suposedly completley lossless but still has a compression ratio or 2:1 (300MB ish) i know theres a large following of it with a big group of springsteen fans, they all have full to the brim FTP servers that they trade off. I'd like to see what a computer designed for high end audio + decent dac - ect could do with FLAC
anyhow Radiohead - OK Computer
Oscar Peterson - Moonlight in Vermont
The smoothest sounding tracks I've ever heared, Makes me feel like going out 😛
Beautiful!!
