Like to have a set of your DAC. Email sent.
BTW, do you sell the transformer that goes with this DAC? 230V main.
As for AD797 or OP42. Which has more details in mid with a bit of warm 🙂
Thanks,
Sam

Hi Thomas,
I'm not sure if you got my email. Anyway, I would
like to reiterate my interest in purchasing a kit.
Can you contact me with ordering details through
the forum or email me: lm4562gb@gmail.com
Thanks,
Dennis

sorry I need to go out now. My boss was waiting for me. I will first prioty answer U when I back.
many sorry for that!
thx
thomas
Ok no problem, looking forward for your answer.
I had two more questions:
Is it possible to buy you a tda 1541 chip in addition from the kit?
What are the differences from the previous kit in terms of schematic and component quality?
Hi Thomas!
Nice to hear from u again. It would be better if u create a new thread for this newer dac for easy reference. Count me in too!
Cheers!
Eddy.

Hi ggta,
pls check email.
Hi rtd,
6 source input.
Optical, RCA, BNC, USB, TTL, XLR ( real balance input)
This PCB had output relay circuit into it.
3 seconds after switch on power.
PSU : 5V DC--yes,
control board : No remote.
Use pressure buttom to select source input.
Hi earsandeyes,
yes, simple SE ( use RCA input only) will USD 165 include posatge post to U. Ps added USD 5 to use reg.mail.
Hi kooka,
I resend email to U with answers of your questions. pls check.
Hi SamL,
yes, but post one 30W power transfer oversea postage will increase more. so I did not suggest. but I will try to search , wait a little bt of while!
AD797 was little bit of warm in human voice, OP-42 was increase little bit of detail.
But original chips follow with DAC was Philips 5534. plilips 5534 was the best 5534, better than JRC or ST!
hi Dennis Hui,
sorry too many email, I will one by one answer, sorry for that!
Pls let me know which set up u like, this DAC design will not waste any one. although U upgrade, will not watse any one OLD PCB!
hi ggta,
Is it possible to buy you a tda 1541 chip in addition from the kit?
sure, only one extra 1541 or 1541a chips????
What are the differences from the previous kit in terms of schematic and component quality?
ans, this one was strong improvement of power supply. since 16bits dac most was little weak in base, so I improve speed of the power supply for better dynamic, & stable, because I presume this DAC can 24 hrs turn on. But this design was worse in large size! Old DAC was use 7805 etc, this DAC was use LT1033 etc.
hi flyboi,
nice to meet U again!U will love this DAC, this dac can use IV transformers ( or MC step up 1:10) for IV!
if U like LP, or LP user, had MC step up trans on hand, will one more interest for this DAC.
hi pchw,
pls check email later, sorry for delay.
hi korben69, pls check email.
hi Alan Sebastian,
Alan Sebastian just sent you money with PayPal.
money arrived, I will send to U this several days.
I was double check all sets of dac right not, before osting. I suggest working for every one for several hours again.
thx
thomas

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
this is full look of real full balance 1541a DAC U actually get.
not simple version, this is real full balance one.
thx

close up of two chips ( CPLP) for full balance digital signal rating. it means 1541a was real running in 16 bits & hadn't one bit delay!
right side was USB receiver.
thx

Any LP user in this forum?
If U are LP( MC)cartiage user. Do U had 1:10 MC step up transformers on hand, U can use your MC step Up transformers connect for it, but since 1541a was current output. use normal mc step up transformers will not easy to fit for it because most MC step up cannot running DC. so I still advise use IV transformers.
thx
thomas
take a look for the solder point prepare for transformer IV.

this IV transformers was use for IV ( DAC) But i did not know how many ma this transformers rating.
if finally this cannot running enough current for 1541a.
I will use Nano asmorphous prepare 1:10 IV tansformer for upgrade dac.
thx
thomas
photos show sowter, but I did not k how how many max current rating!

prepare Daburu Cobalt base nano amorphous core for MC step up & 1:10 ( balance winding) for later upgrade DAC.
take a look of the core, bobbin & enclose cabinet.
Use cobalt base core can gurantee band width.
thx
thomas
I will funish for it soon.

Hi, have you receive my mail by the forum.
As j have already started to do my on dac before seeing this one(receiver, power supply; IV)
Is it possible just to have :
- 2 dac boards without TDA 1541
- Glue logic for Balanced DAC
What kind of reclocking do you use :
- DEM
- Reclocking of the 4 lines in balanced mode
- Just BCK, ... ?
Thanks
