hi:

I got the original amp circuit here:
http://www.redcircuits.com/Page80.htm
it is BJT output device,I think mosfet's would be more suitable as output devices here,so I design this 10W(RMS) class-a amp:

Hi Darkhorse,

Nice BJT to FET "conversion". Are you planning to build this amplifier? The only thing i dont like about this 2 stage amplifiers is the low OL Gain. I dont say they are bad, its just my feeling.
Maybe it is possible to replace R5 with a current source so you can get the maximum gain out of the first stage.

Greetings

Thank you,my friends...

😉
yes,I want to build one channel to examinate it,I think it will sounds good and more likes an valve tube amplifier^@^

it works sames to JLH mos version(or PLH)...but it is class-a opertions.so it sounds more lovly I think!

this is pay back for all good guys...

hi,all friends in this world:
as I read the thread "My beloved amp" here:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66657&pagenumber=3
my emotion isn't even...at recent days,I builded one channel amp which circuit is designed by myself...it's good things,I want to share the circuit with all audio DIYERs in this world, enjoy!

😉
regards!
WINCO

Hi Winco
Nice design, I like it, especially output stage realisation.
Upupa's design are also nice, but more sophisticated, using feedback and error correction with nice symmetry (all damn good made), but this is another world indeed.
cheers

hum...

thanks Mr.Upupa Epops & Mr.darkfenriz:

the amp sended by Mr.Upupa Epops is too complexity...oh,my head...
:smash:
I like simple circuit,I just a very young bird.as a diyer, this isn't my full time job,so simple circuit is more easy to work it out.I have no time & no vigour (& no money) to pay so much things,is it?
so I think:"do what you can do to make it perfect".

enjoy!

😎

Winco, these " many transistors " are only cheapest ones, so price will be not much higher. And is free, if you solder thirty devices or fifry devices ( if you know it... 😉 ). All is only about comprehension function of little bit complicated circuit... 😉

Yes, I know how feel.
When looking at circuit, with maybe even 10!!! transistors and 57 capacitors.
Makes my head really bad and hurt much, too ...

And not only my head sometimes:
-- my hair stand right up into heaven, into sky -
so afraid I get, when see some 'modern advanced, complexity' amplifiers ....

And in my stomach, my belly, I feel so sick
... like when drinking too much and want to put and spit some old food into the ground,
when I see some 'super amplifier' circuits ...

================================================
😀 -> some other people have very strong heads <- 😀
================================================

.. but sorry :xeye: my head is not so very strong
.. my head is only for simple and good amplifiers

Like some little circuits made by
Friend Darkhorse:

4watt classic OTL amp...
I have draw this schematic today, very simple things

hi,all friends in this world
I want to share the circuit with all audio DIYERs in this world, enjoy

.... and for my own, lineup, small amps
3, 4, 5 transistors
simple but very GOOOOOD amplifiers

So,
Don't give up, my friend DarkHorse 🙂
Some day you make a very good amplfiier
... and all them strong-heads will be much surprised!
