The PSU tested is not as good as our Nirvana PSU. (about 1mv of noise)
Boards (katana is made out of 3 boards) were placed on top of RPI 3 (not the 3b+) and took the i2s signals direct from RPI connector (rpi was in slave mode)
Basically we tested what people will have and use once they get the Katana.

Test was running with modified SMPS (good passive filter) and earthed on DC side.
Isolator is working with Katana but we never had a chance to test more, still from what I remember on Boss , I don't expect significant improvements on THD with isolation..

Will you also market a pre configured player ( pi 3b+, katana boards, acrylic case and nirvana (x1 or x2) running Volumio and/or other sw ?
Could you post the recommended stack configuration with isolator, fifo/reclock, dac, IV and the required power supplies.

1 psu for RPI , 1 PSU for Katana (5V , min 1A)
Recloacker is included (its a master), Isolator can be used but it will allow you only 32/192Khz (without isolator it plays 32/384Khz)
IV stage and summing also included (discreete opamp)

first let me publicly say thx you for your great work. Its appreciated by the community and by myself . Katana will be sent for your testing from the first units.
Driver is almost ready.Will be submitted next week to mainline linux . You can change filters , volume etc. I will publish a doc on Monday from the main engineer.
Can we expect a detailed description/summary document on Katana/Nirvana soon?

Soon , sorry for the delays but we are working on finalizing everything (including driver submission )
If the Katana is better than the Piano 2.1 / Kali (because that Combo is great) then I will definitely get a Katana 🙂
